General Instructions
Arrival & Parking
Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before service to allow time to park and check in for baptism. Since you will be on campus for a longer period of time than usual, we’re asking all participants to please park towards the back of the lot at your campus to help facilitate less congestion in the main lots.
Before Service
Come to the check-in table FIRST to confirm your attendance and receive your baptism shirt. Check-in is also available after service.
Please note: If you plan to bring a bag of clothes into the Sanctuary, prepare to have it searched and tagged for identification by security.
During Service
Come in to enjoy worship and the message! The communicator will let you know when to leave the service early to participate in baptism.
After Service
If you have children in Victory Kids, please pick them up BEFORE your baptism. It would be great for them to be a part of this amazing moment in your life, too!
Once you are checked in, go to the changing area and the volunteers will direct you.
Please note: Childcare will not be provided during special services outside of our normal weekend services such as Thirst or special events.
After Your Baptism
We will have a certificate for you! On the day of your baptism, you will either receive it in person or we will communicate when it will become available.
Please note: The name on your baptism certificate will be the same as the participant’s name that you entered during registration.
Important Note for Children’s Baptisms

Preparation
Things to Do
- Shower or bathe prior to attending the baptism service.
- Do not wear jewelry.
- Please do not use oils or lotions on your skin or hair before baptism.
What to Bring
- Toiletries, if desired (i.e. comb/brush, personal hygiene products, etc.)
- Towel(s): Bring at least 1 large towel per person.
- Swimming cap, if desired
- Complete change of clothes
- Clothes for baptism (please see next section for specific details)
Clothing Requirements
Women
- Clean, full underwear with a close inner garment such as a T-shirt
- A loose-fitting dark colored shirt over undergarments
- Dark colored pants or shorts (long shorts please)
Men
- Clean underwear and T-shirt
- Dark colored overshirt
- Dark colored pants or shorts (long shorts please)
